Savina Barini is a graduating BFA Musical Theatre student at Howard University, and has studied musical theatre, restoration comedy, Shakespeare, devising techniques, and playwriting in Idaho, Washington, and London.

In addition to musical theatre, Savina studied playwriting at Howard and recently mounted their ten minute play All Black Everything as part of the Howard Players'

8 x 10 Play Festival. As a junior, they wrote and designed lighting for Mephistopheles, a student produced and directed play with music about what happened to Mephistopheles after the events of Faust.

When not onstage, Savina works as a teaching artist with St. Thomas Playhouse and serves as a mentor for The Spot's Young Company in Sun Valley, ID.
