Lauryn Simone
Lauryn Simone is a proud Philly native and Howard graduate. She started her performance career at the ripe age of 7 in a production of Fences at the Arden Theatre in Philadelphia. From then on she decided to pursue her love for theatre exclusively.
While studying at Howard she was blessed to have a myriad of experiences to catapult her career. Her sophomore year, she studied Shakespeare at the British American Drama Academy as part of their Midsummer in Oxford Program; a life-changing experience she is eternally grateful for and will never forget. Upon her return to the states, her love for the craft was rekindled and strengthened.
This season you may have seen her in Fabulation at Mosaic Theater as "Stephie" or in The Amen Corner at Shakespeare Theatre Company as "Sister Sally". She is grateful for all her experiences at Howard and looks forward to what she and her class will achieve in the future.
Up Next: Lauryn Simone will be playing "Bonita" in The Blackest Battle at Theatre Alliance.
